Personal Information and Privacy Consent Form
Better Call Jamal Inc. (“BCJ”) is committed to protecting the personal information of its clients, as Applicants and Co-Applicants for the financing services that we offer. BCJ will collect, use and disclose your personal information only for the purposes for which you have provided your consent or as permitted under applicable laws. For clarity, “personal information” is any information about an identifiable individual.
By signing this Privacy Consent Form, you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information by BCJ and its affiliates, agents and service providers. You also consent to BCJ’s collection, use and disclosure of your personal information to and from any credit bureaus, reporting agencies, financial institutions and businesses with whom you have had or in the future have financial relationships. In addition, you consent to BCJ’s collection, use and disclosure of your personal information to and from any references that you may provide to BCJ in support of any application you make for financing or where BCJ is used as a reference by you in other financing applications. By signing this Privacy Consent Form, you consent to BCJ obtaining, from time to time, reports about you from credit reporting agencies.
Collecting Your Personal Information
We will, from time to time, collect financial and other information about you, such as information establishing your identity and your personal background, as it relates to financial matters (name, address, phone number, date of birth, etc.); information related to transactions arising from your relationship with BCJ and from your relationship with financial institutions; information you provide on an application for any of our services; and information about financial behavior such as your payment history and credit worthiness.
Using and Disclosing Your Personal Information
The personal information that we collect about you may be used or disclosed for the following purposes to verify your identity and investigate your personal background, as it relates to financial matters; to manage our relationship with you; to determine your eligibility for services and to provide you with services you may request from BCJ; to understand your financial situation; to determine your eligibility for services that we offer, that you request; to maintain the accuracy and integrity of information held by credit reporting agencies; and as required or permitted by law.
For the above noted purposes, we may make your personal information available to our employees, agents and service providers, who are required to maintain the confidentiality of this information; share this information with financial institutions; and give credit, financial or other related information to credit reporting agencies who may share it with others.
Right to Access Your Personal Information and Withdrawal of Consent
You may obtain access to information we hold about you at any time and review its content and accuracy and have it amended as appropriate; however, access may be restricted as permitted or required by law.
